My goal is to capture that fresh newborn stage and age before it's gone. It goes by way to fast and is all, but soon forgotten, if not documented. I shoot newborns from 6 to 10 days of life in my Hayward, WI studio, as well as milestone and family photography sessions.

I want to capture all the special moments life has to offer. Whether it be your first day in the hospital with your new baby, or in my studio, or as your little lovie grows up before your eyes. These moments need to be frozen in time.

Fresh 48 sessions are especially important to document.  Exhausted parents often don't remember those first hours in the hospital with the constant influx of hospital staff and visitors.  I want to capture this moment in time for you to treasure.  Documenting ten tiny fingers and toes, their umbilical cord clamp, their newborn skin, the baby acne, the bonds between new parents, the bonds between new families.

My name is Katie, and I am the owner and sole photographer at Katie Bohmann Photography. Photography has been a passion and hobby of mine for several years. It wasn’t until recently that I started wanting to turn my passion into a vision, and this is when KBP was born.

My husband, Johnny, has always been on board with my pursuit of photography as he purchased my original Canon equipment, and then spoiled me with upgrades + a professional camera body + an in-home studio.

Johnny, like myself, values the importance of photography. Photos are priceless, and after all, once the day is gone, we just have a memory and an image to capture that moment in time.

I live just outside the city limits of a busy, small town called Hayward, WI. Hayward is known for many World-Class events, and is a tourist destination in the summertime. Our household is busy, crazy, full of kids + most importantly full of love. If I do not have my camera in hand, you will often find me tending to our children, household, or working as a newborn intensive care nurse in Duluth.
